A fan is in hospital after being taken ill during Bolton's League One clash with Charlton on Tuesday night.
Play had been underway for four minutes at the Toughsheet Community Stadium when the referee paused the contest.
The match was resumed six minutes later.
Bolton confirmed that the fan had been taken to Bolton Hospital for further treatment.
"Following a medical incident in the crowd during the opening minutes of tonight’s game, Wanderers can confirm that a supporter has been taken to Bolton Hospital for further treatment," the statement from Bolton read.
"Our thoughts and prayers remain with the supporter."

The worrying scenes in Bolton come just days after a Portsmouth fan tragically passed away after being taken ill in the stands during the game against Middlesbrough.
The match at Fratton Park kicked off at 3pm but was stopped within seconds by referee Gavin Ward after he was made aware of the medical emergency.
Portsmouth later confirmed the devastating news on social media.

It was reported two separate emergencies took place in the Millwall end while a third occurred in the Sunderland away section.
Kick-off at Kenilworth Road for Luton Town's match against Swansea last December was delayed by 15 minutes after a Hatters fan suffered a medical scare.
Thankfully the fan who fell ill was taken to hospital in a stable condition as the game ended 1-1.
A delay of the same length was enacted when Birmingham City travelled to Crawley Town on December 23.
The Blues went on to record a 1-0 win away to Crawley via Jay Stansfield's 79th-minute goal.
Birmingham's next fixture was also impacted by a medical emergency when they hosted Burton Albion on Boxing Day.
The game was stopped for four minutes in the latter stages of the first half when a woman fell ill in the Tilton Road Stand.
Thankfully it was seemingly confirmed via Birmingham-related Facebook groups the woman had recovered.
